Free Winter Checks
Due the extra strain and demand put upon all vehicles during cold and wet periods, we are pleased to announce the introduction of our extensive free of charge winter health check.
If you are either travelling long distance or just worried about the general running of your vehicle, our health check will let you know the condition of your vehicle with a full report of any defects or maintenance required.
All our winter checks include:
Tyre condition, depths and quallity report
Brake pads, discs and fluid condition report
Suspension wear and condition report
Windscreen glass and wiper condition report
Battery power, age and condition report
Coolant strenght, performance and condition report
Check of all engine bay fluids, eg. Oil, Screenwash, PAS fluid etc.
Check and replacement of any blown bulbs
Air Conditioning Servicing
Air conditioning systems are not solely just for use in hot weather, they can greatly improve demisting time of windscreens and interior windows by removing moisture from the incoming air.
Now Summer time leaving us, after the best heat wave we've seen for years, we found a rise is customers using air conditioning systems every time they drove the vehicle.
This can lead to reduced performance of the A/C system through gas leakage, and oil deteriation.
This means, although you may not use the A/C system as much in colder conditions, it is essential to maintain all the components, to ensure reliability.
Unlike most other garages, rather than raise the price of re-gassing your A/C system, we have actually lowered the price to just
£39.95 + v.a.t.
All manufactures of motor vehicles advise replacement of A/C gas and compressor oil every two to three years, this is due to acceptable gas leakage ammounts and oil deteriation.
We provide all air conditioning service requirements, which include:
Removal and measuring of all the old A/C gas
Full vacuum and leakage testing of the entire sytem
Nitrogen gas leak detection testing if required
Replacement of A/C compressor lubricating oil
Introduction of Ultra Violet Dye to aid future diagnosics for leakage
Exact volume and pressure of R134a A/C gas injected into the system
Interior vent temperature checks before and after to ensure improvement
All this is carried out following strict Government and European, F Gas Legislation, introduced in July 2010 to reduce contaminating our air with harmful gases.
All our staff carrying out A/C system repairs or servicing are fully trained and certified in accordance with these laws.
