Every service we provide at A.V.I.T. is carried out in exactly the same manor as you would expect in a main dealer workshop.

We advise the use of original Audi and Volkswagen service parts on all models, and provide you with top quality Mobil brand lubricants.
As an option we can also supply you with performance or quality after-market parts for vehicles out of warranty.
Electronic diagnosis, using original Audi Volkswagen software
Due to the complexity of Audi and Volkswagen's engine management systems, the only real way to progress was to invest in dealership level diagnostic equipment.
Providing us with the ability to carry out investigation into every type of fault your vehicle might arrise.
This is a must for any modern vehicle, as most "multi brand" diagnostic computers will miss out the abilty to read essential control units and cannot provide software or programme updates.
Immobilizer, dash panel and ECU coding
To provide customers with the best possible safety, Audi and Volkswagen introduced factory fitted immobilizers and alarms way back in 1994. The only way to add or replace vehicle keys, is to adapt the vehicles electrical system with an online link to the factory based in germany.
Here at A.V.I.T. are able to provide this service to our customers, using the same equipment and security provided by main dealers.
This allows us to replace and code, Engine Ecu's, Dash panels and supply new vehicle keys, at a vastly reduced rate to that of your local Audi, Volkswagen main dealer.
Radio and Sat nav unlocking codes
Modern vehicles are equiped with anti-theft coding of stereo's and sat nav equipment, this is mainly due to high price of replacement of these items.
Here at A.V.I.T. we can supply radio and sat nav unlocking codes, that are required when your vehicle stereo is disconnected or replaced.
This can also occur when the battery goes flat, or is replaced.
4-Wheel laser alignment using official Audi Volkswagen equipment
Modern vehicles are under many high demands from modern roads,suffering damage and alterations from uneven surfaces, potholes, fast cornering etc.
From the factory your vehicle geometry will be set as near to original specification as possible, we can adjust vehicles back to these original settings providing you with comfort and good tyre life.
Air conditioning service and re-charge facility
Over time all vehicles will leak an exceptable ammount of Air conditioning gas, this in turn lowers the efficiency of your vehicles abilty to provide cool air. Also after a certain time or mileage, the oil that lubricates the compressor in the air conditioning system will deteriate lowering its abilty to protect vital components.
As recommended by your manufacturer, we suggest replacement of the oil and topping up of the gas every 2-3 years. This will ensure the air conditioning system will continue to work throughout the lifetime of your vehicle or ownership.
APR ecu remapping, increasing drivability and power
The modern customer expects just a little more from their vehicle, either in performance or economy, APR tuning is a way to provide both.

Cambelt kit and waterpump replacements
Recommended by every manufacturer of modern vehicles is the regular replacement of your vehicles camshaft drive belt and tensioners.
This is due to deteriation over time and useage of the rubber belt and the bearings within the tensioners.
The cambelt is a vital part of any petrol or diesel engine, providing the only link between the crankshaft and camshafts. Common problems are:
Stretching of rubberised belt- causing incorrect timing of driven shafts
Tooth loss- Causing slipping of timing pulleys and possible engine damage
Snapping of drive belt- Leading to valve contact with pistons
Tensioner faliure- Causing belt to slacken, jump teeth, or snap
Cambelt driven water pump faliure- water pump impellers can come lose from pump shaft leading to overheating or possible jamming causing belt damage.
These are the main reasons cambelts must be replaced at specified intervals, ensuring many miles of happy motoring.
Diesel pump timing and adjustments
All modern diesel engines are very complex in design, demanding good performance and unrivalled fuel economy.
To ensure your engine can provide both, it requires precise setting of the diesel pump timing. We have invested a lot of time, and effort to provide our customers with the abilty to set their engines to the original manufacturers settings.
General repairs, brakes, clutches etc.

Alloy wheel refurbishment service.
Most vehicles will unfortunately, at some point suffer some minor damage to one or all of the wheels.
To restore your vehicle to it's original condition, we offer the service of alloy wheel refurbishment.
This will improve the look and drive of your vehicle, either for your own pleasure or to raise the selling potential.
Ability to supply all makes and sizes of tyres
Here at A.V.I.T. we can provide you with direct replacement tyre's, or advise you on upgrades, either in performance or lifespan.
Due to the huge demand on modern vehicles the tyres are porbably the hardest working and quickest wearing items.
This allows most suppliers to cash in on demand, not us! We believe in a fair price for a good service or product, meaning we supply tyres at a much lower price than almost all local retailers.
