It is with great regret that due to reasons beond our control, we have to announce the removal of APR tuned software and products from our range.
Here at A.V.I.T. we have worked alongside Awesome GTI, based in Manchester, to provide customers with the APR range.
For nearly 10 years, the UK importer and supplier, Awesome GTI have been responsible for the sales, marketing and distribution of all APR software and hardware products.
Over a number of years, Awesome have suffered due to 'internal politics' at APR and have decided to terminate all business relations. As from 3 PM on Tuesday 12th October 2010, Awesome terminated its partnership with APR LLC and signed contracts with Revo Technik as an approved dealer.
Here at A.V.I.T., we are currently in the process of transferring to Revo Technik as our main software upgrade provider.
As many loyal customers who have chosen APR as the preferred product, we and Awesome still want to give these people our continued support.
As it will now be impossible for Awesome to flash APR software to any vehicle, an agreement has been reached with new partners REVO to allow a 28 Day Amnesty starting Monday the 18th of October.
This will allow any existing APR software equipped vehicle to be re flashed to REVO software with no charge. It does not matter how long the car has had APR software fitted, as long as the purchase invoice can be produced.
The only cars that this will not apply to is the older chip change vehicles.
The FREE conversion to REVO will only allow single programs and if an SPS unit is required, that will be an added cost.
These amnesty burns can only be carried out at Awesome and any questions regarding the Amnesty will be answered by their sales staff.
Event: APR Amnesty Day
The date for the above event will be held at Awesome on the 6th November 2010 - 9.00 am - 4.00pm.
As previously stated any cars currently running APR will be flashed FOC to REVO you will need your original invoice with you.
Present will be the Revo team with their tent and they will have some cars that we may be able to take you out in. Also the team from Awesome will be there to help and assist with the guys from Revo, so we will endeavour to answer as many questions on the day as possible.
It will also be a good opportunity for anyone to just come along even if not being mapped to talk to us all have a coffee and also enjoy watching the TT rolling road day that will be happening here at the same time.
